Mickey Mouse Movie Night!

For our final pre-Disneyland trip movie night, we decided to do Mickey Mouse Night.

Kim and Bill hosted us at their house.  Kim had the dining area all set up when we got there- it was so cute!

Stella!

We played outside for awhile waiting for the daddy's to get home.  Bill and Kim's backyard is such a fun place to hang out.  They live in the middle of the city, but you really get a "country" feel.  They have an amazing garden, a chicken coop, and tortoises.  Kim has this cute, comfy wicker love seat and chair that out on the back patio.  It is shady and pleasant, and the perfect place to sit and watch the kids and the sun set on a hot summer evening.  What's not to love!

Kinley has this fun roller-coaster that the boys love to ride on!  We looked through the garden and saw the pumpkins, tomatoes, and all different kinds of squash & zucchini growing.  The kids chased the chickens around a bit.

When Chris and William got home, we ate dinner.  The kids had Mickey Mouse Chicken Nuggets, cantaloupe, and fresh garlic-zucchini (from the garden).  The grown-ups had Pizza.  : )

For dessert, Kim made these too cute Mickey Mouse cupcakes.  Delicious!

Our craft and activity was making Tye-Dye Mickey t-shirts for us to wear on our day at Disneyland.  We had thought the kids would be able to help, but that was a big mistake!  Kim and I ended up sending them inside to watch the movie, while we tye-dyed all the shirts.

They ended up destroying the living room couch to make a fort.  And they watched a few classic Mickey Mouse movies.  They had a blast!

We had a great night!
