Every year the Sterne Family heads up north to help celebrate the Christmas season. We have been going to Greer for the last few years and it is so wonderful! This year, Rochelle was able to get an awesome deal at Greer Lodge and we were able to stay in a few cabins there and enjoy all the amenities. This was the first time we have stayed in Greer and not had snow. It was kinda neat to enjoy the pond and grounds at the lodge without snow!

This was our attempt at Fly Fishing. It was sorta fun....right up until Ethan hooked Kim right in the back of her scalp! I had to use mini pliers to get the hook out of her skin.....OUCH!! That was the end of Fly Fishing for us!!!
We drove up the road from the Lodge to find some snow to play in. We spent a few hours sledding, having snowball fights, and enjoying the beautiful snow.
Ethan loves Kinley so much! He is so patient with her and loves spending time with her.

We spent time relaxing around the cabin- we played games, napped, hung out and visited with family, and ate lots of great food!
Our last night in Greer we headed out and built a big campfire. We made smores and sang every Christmas song we could think of!

I love this picture of Karyssa & Ryan with Cory in the background! It is so sweet to see them loving on each other! Karyssa & Cory have asked Ryan to be the ring-bearer in their wedding next year!
We had a great time with our family and are looking forward to next year!
