Ethan's 3rd Grade Field Trip to The Lake Pleasant Outdoor Center

I was able to go as a chaperone for Ethan's Class Field Trip to the Lake Pleasant Outdoor Center.  This was a really neat field trip! 

 We took a mile hike around Lake Pleasant and learned about some of the desert wildlife and plants. It was very interesting.

After the hike, the kids broke into groups and played a series of different games based on ancient games.  Ethan's favorite was "spear throwing through hoops".

After the games, we ate lunch and then listened to a interesting Geology lecture.

It was a very cool place to visit!

Kim and William had to go to a wedding over Thanksgiving weekend.  They asked us to watch the girls and of course we said yes!

We had a good weekend.  Madison did not want to drink her bottles for the first 12 hours or so, but we finally had success and she did great the rest of the time!

We met our friends Nicole & Ivan at the park up in Anthem and spent a fun afternoon hanging out.

Ryan's 1st Grade Fall Feast

Ryan's class had a big Thanksgiving Lunch Feast to celebrate Thanksgiving.  Everyone had to bring something to share.  It was a great time to hang out with my boy!

Logan's 5th Grade Field Trip to the Natural History Museum

Logan's Class went on a field trip to the Natural History Museum in Mesa.  I wasn't able to go, but Chris took a long "lunch break" and met him there.  They had a great time exploring the museum and all the Dinosaur exhibits, panning for gold, and hanging out with friends!
