Ryan turns 6!

Ryan celebrated his 6th birthday with a fun day at Wazee's World Laser Tag!  We invited all the boys in his class, plus a few friends.  The kids played 2 games of Laser Tag, ate pizza & cake, and opened gifts.  He had a great time!

The Laser Tag room was really dark- it was hard to get pictures!  Ryan and his friends hung out in a little pack and went around getting everyone.  They were so cute!

Ryan got lots of nice gifts and had a good time!

On Ryan's ACTUAL birthday, I took cookies into his class to celebrate with his friends from school.

Later that night, we went to dinner with our extended family at Buffalo Wild Wings. Ryan picked the place! We ate out on the patio and enjoyed spending time with everyone in honor of Ryan!

A "Twice Blessed" Baby Shower

My mom and I hosted a baby shower in honor of my Nikki, my sister-in-law.  My brother & Nikki are expecting TWINS!  One boy & one girl!

My mom and I went a little crazy with decorating.  Of course we did a "Twin" theme throughout the house.  Pink & Blue and twins, twins, twins!  The weeks before the shower, every time I talked to my mom on the phone, she would tell me another "twin idea" that she had.  She was twin-ter-pated!

I loved the way the house looked!  It was a lot of fun decorating to celebrate Nikki & Timmy's sweet little babies.

Our Decorations throughout the house all had to do with twins or doubles.  One of the games we played was to go around and find as many as possible.  See how many you can spot!!

The banner above the clothesline says "Twice Blessed".  All the clothes on the line were a gift from mom to Nikki & Tim.

Our food was also twin-themed.  We did all pink & blue plates, napkins, cups.

One of the games we played was to have everyone pair up and figure out 2 things they had in common.  It was fun to see what people came up with and to see unusual groupings!  Everyone got to know each other a little better.

We played another game where everyone had to think of all the double/twin things they could.  It was alot of fun!

After the shower ended, we decided to let the balloons go up to Heaven.
