Whooooooo's Hangin' Around Our House???

This guy is!

We saw him sitting in the tree in the retention basin next to our house.  He was just hangin' out and watching us!  These pictures were taken at 7:00am.

Later in the evening around 5:30, he was still hanging around!  He had moved down to the grassy area.  I actually called Game and Fish about him because I thought maybe he was injured or sick.  They gave me the number to an owl wildlife group.  The lady I spoke with said he was probably fine, just trying to stay cool in the 115 degree weather we have been having!  So we just watched him!  The boys nicknamed him Hedwick after Harry Potter's owl!

School Days!

1st Day of School

August 15, 2011

Logan will be starting 4th grade.

Ethan will be starting 2nd Grade.

Ryan will be starting Kindergarten.

Logan has Mrs. Hatcher for 4th Grade.

Ethan is in Mrs. Eddleman's 2nd grade class.

Ryan has extended-day in the morning with Mrs. Boutelle.

When Mrs. Boutelle opened the door, she didn't have the parents come in.  It was kinda sad!  I had wanted to go in and take some pictures, say good-bye and shed a few tears as my baby went off to Kindergarten.  Instead it was a quick goodbye outside the class and he was off!  : (  This is a picture thru the window!

I came back to the school in the afternoon so I could get a few pictures of my little bubba on his first day.  Ryan has Kindergarten in the afternoon with Mrs. Scheffler.
